Family mediation offers couples a constructive and supportive way to resolve issues without needing to take their case before a judge. It focuses on helping both parties reach fair and practical agreements that work for the future — while minimising conflict, stress, and cost.

£500 Mediation Voucher Scheme

We are pleased to participate in the Ministry of Justice’s Voucher Scheme, which provides a contribution of up to £500 per family to help cover the costs of mediation involving children, or children and financial matters. From 29 April 2024, updates to the Family Procedure Rules give courts greater powers to steer separating couples towards out-of-court resolution options. These changes aim to make it easier for families to engage in mediation before resorting to legal proceedings, unless exemptions apply or all other avenues have been exhausted.

Our Mediation Services

Our family mediators assist clients in addressing a broad range of family matters, such as:

• Parenting plans and childcare arrangements
• Housing and living arrangements
• Financial settlements and division of property

Mediation fees are charged hourly, but the cost can be shared between the couple in any way they agree.
